A pearl of beauty in this sometimes ugly world. You would always bring a smile to my face.   I LOVED my yearly summer visits for two weeks to visit you and Grandpa.  We would have so much fun together, baking and making dinner, cleaning up, walking the town. It was the highlight and best part of my summers!! You were so proud to introduce me to all your friends or the entire town.  I would be embarrassed at times, but was inwardly happy and proud to have you be so proud of me.  The magaziner/newspaper shop is one stop we'd make I think daily and sometimes I'd get a book or magazine. 

You didn't get a chance to really meet my baby girl, but I am SO PROUD to have had one and name her after you and Granny.  Stephany May Pearl will be as beautiful and loving as you because you taught my mom and me both how to be a great person and a great mother.  I will miss you so very much, though I am happy that you are at peace now and with grandpa watching over us all. I know that you will watch over Stephany and keep her safe.
