I remember as a kid how you would have me practice an hour on the piano each day and Eric also when he started to take piano lessons.   I know I did not always want to practice so long as I would want to go out to play with the neighbour kids especially on a nice day!

I remember helping you bake cookies, cakes, etc.  Loved making the Laura Secord Candies with you for Christmas along with your yummy peanut  butter fudge which you would take the pot and go out to the back porch to mix it up as it would cool it down faster to make it thicker.

I remember the Friday nights when Uncle Wilfred and Aunt Mildred would bring the kids to visit after they finished their weekly shopping and dad had come home from the store.  Those were the good old days.

Also remember all the Christmas or New Year's dinners you would make each year when Granny and Grandpa were still here to be with us.  

The times we spent at the Smith cottage that one year.  Even though you didn't swim you went in the water to cool down.

Even though you did not get to see your last grandchild Stephany May Pearl crawl all over and give you her big toothy smile, I know you would have loved cuddling with her and singing songs to her!

I miss your sweet smile and the sound of  your laughter when you thought something was funny!

I miss getting your hugs and kisses every time we came for a visit!  We could not get in or out the door without a hug and kiss!

I remember the day we brought out our new baby boy for you and dad to see for the first time!

The same when we had a baby girl.   You always said you had your millionaire family....meaning a girl and a boy.   I told you I also had my millionaire family!

I love you mom and I know you are happy now with Dad in heaven as you could not wait to be with him again!
