HORBA, WERONIKA (nee SELWA)
Peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Wednesday December 10th, 2014 Weronika Horba entered into rest at the age of 85 years. Born in Rzeszow Poland on January 8th, 1929, Weronika emigrated to Canada in 1958 settling in Prescott where she lived until 2008 and moved to Brockville. She worked as a seamstress for Fischl Gloves for more than 10 years and later for Prescott Paper Products retiring in 1994. Weronika was an avid gardener and enjoyed cooking and baking for family, friends and neighbours. Weronika is predeceased by her beloved husband Albin (1999). Survived by her children, Teresa Novick (Paul) of London, Edward Horba (Nancy) of Kingston and two grandsons Julian and Jacob both of London.
Family and Friends may call at the MACKAY Funeral Home 416 Dibble St., West Prescott on Sunday December 14th, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, funeral service will take place in the Prescott Chapel of the funeral home on Monday December 15th at 11 AM. Interment to take place in the spring.
