BENNETT, ERNEST (ERNIE) ANDERSON

Peacefully at the St. Lawrence Lodge Brockville on Thursday April 28th, 2011 at the age of 91. Ernie Bennett Husband of the late Mary Bennett (nee Brown) and the late Cecile Bennett (nee Galarneau).
Cherished father of Earl (Heather) of Mount Forrest, Richard (Joanne), Anna Barr, Alvin (Lore), Marlene Geggie (Malcolm) all of Brockville and Barbara Geggie (Brian) of Roebuck. Sadly missed by grandchildren Harold (Rhonda), Beth (Robin), Sheena (Mike), Jeff (Jaci), Matt, Jonathan, Debbie, David, Sarah, Kristin, Sarah (Tyler), Laura and Michelle and great grandchildren Kaitlyn, Rebecca, Alex, Kristian, Megan and Corey. Brothers Warren of Toronto and John (Helen) of Brockville. Predeceased by a daughter & son-in-law Joan & Dave Johnston a grandson Rodney Johnston and two brothers Gordon & Albert. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the MACKAY Funeral Home 416 Dibble St West Prescott from 2-4 & 7-9 pm on Monday May 2nd, 2011 with funeral service at Roebuck United Church County Rd 18 Roebuck Tuesday May 3rd at 11 am. Interment at a later date. For those wishing the family would like to direct Memorial Donations (by cheque or credit card only) to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or Muscular Dystrophy.
