CROOKER, MARIE (nee HESS)
Peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Monday October 8th, 2013 at the age of 89 years. Marie Crooker beloved wife of the late Bob Crooker and the late Carl Laushway. Dear Mother of Jo-Anne Bush of Cardinal, Douglas Laushway of P.E.I. and Daughter in-law Sharyn Laushway of Brockville. Cherished Grandmother of Steve (Jenny), Scott (Heather), Bryan (Julie), Shannon and Great Grandmother of Robbie, Baylea, Rachael, Evie, Lexi, Claire and Zoe. Much loved sister of Barbara Casselman, Isobel Smith, Patricia Brownlee, Gail Casselman and sister in-law Shirley Hess. Marie was predeceased by two sons Greg and Barry Laushway, Grandson's Paul and Robbie Laushway, brothers Duane Hess and Robert Tuttle and daughter in-law Betty Jean Brennan and son in-law Stephen Bush. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
It was Marie's wish that there be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul's United Church (290 Dibble St. West Prescott) on Wednesday October 16th, 2013 at 1 PM. Interment to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens (2451 County Road 15 Maitland, ON). Memorial Donations (by cheque only) to St. Paul's United Church. Arrangements entrusted to the care of MacKay Funeral Home 416 Dibble St. West Prescott, ON
