Obituary for Carl Ambrose Gilmer
GILMER, CARL A.
Peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Saturday August 6th, 2011 at the age of 80. Carl Gilmer beloved husband of Lois Gilmer (nee Brown). Much loved Father of Douglas (Elizabeth) of Ridgetown, Diane (Leonard Carriere) of Cardinal and Dawn (Gerald Bailey) of Kincardine. Sadly missed by Grandchildren Jessica, Bradley Jamie and Jenna. Predeceased by a brother Keith and a sister in-law Marina. Also survived by a sister in-law and brother in-law Garry and Elizabeth Roddick and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may Call at the MACKAY Funeral Home 416 Dibble St., West Prescott from 3-5 and 7-9 PM on Wednesday August 10th, 2011 with funeral Service in the Prescott Chapel of the funeral home on Thursday August 11th at 11 AM. Interment to take place at a later date. For those wishing Memorial Donations (by cheque only) are being directed to Camp Trillium Capital Fund or the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Wednesday August 10th evening Orange Lodge Service at 7:15 PM, I.O.O.F. Memorial Service at 7:30 PM and a Rebekah Service at 7:45 PM.
