STRONG, BETTY E.M. (nee Barclay)

After a long and valiant struggle with Parkinson's at the Wellington House Long Term Care Facility in Prescott, on Saturday September 21st, 2013 at the age of 87 years. Betty Strong beloved wife of the late Everton Strong and the late Ray Hunter. Dear Mother of Trudy Hunter of Cobourg, William Hunter of Prescott, and David Hunter (Nora) of Toronto. Much loved sister of Marie Cunning of Ottawa, Beverly Dukelow (Ken) of Prescott and Eric Barclay of Belleville. Predeceased her parents Charles & Violet Barclay and by a sister Leona Anderson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the MACKAY Funeral Home 416 Dibble St., West Prescott on Wednesday September 25th, 2013 from 12-1:45 PM. Funeral service in the Prescott Chapel of the funeral Home at 2 PM. Interment will follow in The Halladay Cemetery (Main St. Elgin, ON). For those wishing Memorial Donations (by cheque or credit card only) are being directed to the Parkinson's Society.
