Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Lyndsay Biccum can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Extraordinary

I had first met Lyndsay a few years ago, but I really got to know her this past year. I best remember her when she was hospitalized and trached, which she could not talk as a result. I remember talking about everything I was doing and assisting her, and I laughed at the facial expressions she was giving me. Even though she could not talk, her face told me a thousand words. She was also willing and ready to do things for herself, even in the worst sickness, she still wanted to be independent and have a choice.

Throughout her journey this year, she has gone through a lot of hardships and difficulties, yet she was always positive about how lucky she was. She had supportive parents and brothers, who carefully watched over her and helped her during that time. Caring and being with her taught me even with the difficulties in life, being positive is the first step of overcoming adversity.

My first memory of Lyndsay is the curly haired, pink loving girl, but I will remember her as the humble, strong woman I am proud to say I had the pleasure of knowing. She was an extraordinary superwoman who led an ordinary life.
