Kay was our next door neighbor for 13 years and I would say "there was never a dull moment". Kay was a great help raising our son Trevor and he visited her every time he was in town,  When Kay moved to the apartment, then Bev's, then the Mayfield,  we carried on our friendship having lunch all over the area.  We enjoyed going up the Parkway each summer for lunch! 

One of the things Kay enjoyed on those occasions was checking out the kitchen in all those restaurants?

Our last lunch out was in November 2012.  We went to the Tincap and when the young fellow who runs the place saw Kay he says, "I haven't seen you in a long time".  I replied Kay is 91 now and the fellow answered, "Holy Liftin" !

We called Kay the" world's oldest teenager".
