I had the honour of working with Bill at South Grenville District High School. He was a consummate professional who cared for the school building like it was his own home. Bill was loved and respected by our staff and students because of his ability to listen and not prejudge situations and people.
My work as a Principal was made easier because of his dedication to task, his problem solving skills and his loyalty. After we both left SGDHS, we would bump into each other at various community and political events. His dedication to serving a broader community was evident in his work as a Councillor and Deputy Mayor.
My life was enriched by knowing Bill and working beside him for many years. May he rest in the arms of our Lord.
