My name is Santa. I live in Latvia. I was a letter-friend of aunt Velta. She was sharing letters with my grandmother. When I was in secondary school I started to write letters to aunt Velta in English to improve it. It was really helpful. I am glad that aunt agreed to write me in English. We shared some information about ourselves, about weather and how was our month (because letters were traveling two weeks to Canada and two weeks back).
God, let her body sleep peacefuly. Because her soul will definitely go to heaven...

Please accept the heartfelt condolences from the McAuley family who lived next door to Mrs Iggy on Churchill. She was without a doubt the best neighbour anyone could hope for. In the worst of a winter morning she would be outside and not only cleaning her driveway but doing ours as well. This was especially so following Dad's death and Mary was living alone. May she now Rest in Peace with her beloved "Iggy".

Our deepest condolences to the family. Velta was a great person and neighbor. Many days she would sit outside and smile as the children played. ( when most would be annoyed at the noise) She saw the good things in life and Tammy and I enjoyed her company.
