GIRARD, MARY VERONICA "Marie" (nee Shaver)
On Monday, August 15th, 2022 at her home in Cornwall, Mary Veronica Girard entered into rest at the age of 96 years. Marie Girard beloved wife of the late Ed Girard and predeceased by sons David, John and Paul. Dear Mother of Dan (Ana), Christine (James), Pam, and Kathy. Cherished Grandmother of Brian, Marc, Paul, Andrew, and Madison. She is predeceased by her parents Madeline Farrington and John "Keegan" Shaver, siblings Theodore "Mike", Madeline "Tillie", Bernard "Barney", Guy "Slick" and Charles "Nory". Marie is also survived by a daughter in law Gisele and by numerous nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Interment in St. Mark Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Marie would rather people raise a “glass of cheer” and toast her, place a donation to a charity of your choice or share a special memory of Marie at www.mackayfuneralhome.com
