BARTON, MARGUERITE LAVINA (nee GILLMOURE)
On Tuesday, October 24th, 2023 at the Brockville General Hospital, Marguerite Barton entered into rest at the age of 92 years. Marguerite Barton beloved Wife of the late Earl C. Barton. Dear Mother of Penny O'Brien (Charles) and Richard Barton (Lynn). Cherished Grandmother of Holly Elliott (Dan), Kevin O`Brien (Jennifer), Laura Meadwell (Kevin), Andrew Barton, Beth Andress (Rob), Marsha Beard (Mike), Great Grandmother of eight and Great Great Grandmother of two. She was predeceased by her daughter Nancy, by her sisters Desta Prosser, Eileen Scott, Dora Cook and Jean King and by her brothers Mansel and Lennis. Marguerite is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul`s United Church 290 Dibble St. West, Prescott on Monday, October 30th, 2023 at 1 pm. The family will be there from noon on, for a visitation time. Interment to follow in Maynard Cemetery County Road 26. Maynard, ON. A Reception will follow from 2 - 4 pm at the Prescott Golf Club, 900 Boundary Street, Prescott.
