Born in Matilda Township on April 14,1927. Passed away Sunday February 26, 2023 at St. Lawrence Lodge in Brockville, ON following complications after contracting COVID while living at her home in Prescott. Daughter of the late Ralph and Eva Hanes (McIntosh), Widow of Wray Dickson, Sister of Alton Hanes (Jean), Mother of Janice Atkins (Eric) and Tom Dickson, Survived by sisters-in-law Edythe Bryan of Georgetown, Roberta Hutchings (Ken) of Kingston, Lenore Perras of Cornwall, Sylvia Hutchings (Warren) of Calgary, AB. Predeceased by her aunt Nelda Peterson, sisters-in-law Anne Majola, Debra Pinneo, Florence Furzer, Helen Hollister, Ruth Cheetham, and brothers-in-law Robert and Thomas Dickson. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Mother's wishes, she has been cremated, there is no visitation and there will be a graveside service at a future date with interment at Prescott Cemetery 975 Edward St. N, Prescott.
