My Condolences
I never got to spend much time with my Aunt EVA being so far away on the other side of Canada. My Dad was her Twin. I remember here as kind loving and thoughtful. God Bless

January 20th we received a Christmas card from Aunt Eva.
She wrote, Hi everyone. Nice to hear from you. Thanks for the lovely pictures .
Good luck with the moving in 2020.

I am still able to look after myself and this will be my third Xmas at Mayfield.
Love to all,,,,,,,, Aunt Eva.

Imagine our shock when we 4hrs later learned she had passed. I only met aunt Eva four times that can remember and the distance made hard. One of the times was when were going to Halifax, so I think I saw the Farm. Glad to hear she had many friends. This Christmas card will be a keeper in the family album,

As a child I loved to visit Roy and Eva at the stone farm house...I remember her having canaries in the porch...chirping away. She was a lovely lady, and she is now back with Roy. Rest in Peace Aunt Eva

I am so, so sorry for this sudden loss, my thoughts and prayers go out to all of her surviving wonderful nieces and nephews. I have met many and can assure you, that you were always all so loving and helpful to your. She spoke of you often and always with kind loving sentiments. Eva was the sweetest lady with the kindest heart you can ever meet. We had the pleasure of seeing her sweet little smile each and every day, the family here at The Mayfield are saddened by this loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. May the loving memories provide some comfort to your loss. My deepest condolences.
