ROBERTS, CLAIRE MARY (nee CHRETIEN)
With profound sadness, the family of Claire Mary Roberts announce her unexpected passing at the Brockville General Hospital on Friday October 25, 2019 at the age of 82. Claire Roberts was predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Antoinette Chrétien and siblings Roland, Lilliane, Gilles and Marcel. She was also predeceased by husband George, son Tony and grandson Ryan Ashe. Claire is survived by her daughter Diane (husband Lloyd Ashe) and grandsons Daniel and Jonathon Ashe. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Claire was a lifelong resident of Prescott, Ontario who enjoyed joining friends for coffee most mornings, shopping trips with girlfriends, chatting with folks on her walks and spending time with her family. She was a simple woman who enjoyed her life in her own way. She loved all the hugs she received and if she made you smile or vice versa a big thank you from me. My Mom and I talked every day sharing her news about her life. One thing I’ll never regret was taking that time to share. Lovingly referred to as G-ma in our circle, she will be sorely missed. Cremation has taken place and there will be no services as per her wishes.
