On Sunday February 24th, 2019 Cecil entered into rest at the Wedgewood Retirement Residence, Brockville at the age of 78 years. Cecil May beloved husband of Betty June May (nee Bryan). Dear Father of Vicki Simzer (Tony), April May (Tom Holmes), Crystal May (Jeff Quartus), Donna Martelle (Joe), Nina May, Earl May and Sherri May (Zee Hatley). Cherished Grandfather of Eric Martelle (Nikki Aimer), Sarah Baldwin, Rebecca Wilde (Brian Schwerdtfeger), Shawn Bradford (Mallory St. Pierre), Katie Martelle (Michael Evans), Ariel May-Holmes (Cassandra Ferguson), Rachel Simzer (Michael Dwyer), Selena Simzer, Kirsha Martelle (Andrew Hutchcroft), Jasper Quartus (Kirsten Bussiere), Emmitt Quartus, Will Johnston, Davin May-Holmes (Sabrina Wilson), Delia Johnston, Silas Martelle, Graeme, Jahala May and Great Grandfather to Seven Great Grandchildren and six step Great Grandchildren. Survived by a sister Esther Blake (Arnold). Predeceased by his parents Cecil and Loretta May, a son Adam, two infant daughters, daughter in law Cathy, son in law John Martelle and by his brother Wilson. Also survived by sisters in-laws Lydia May, Ethel Bryan, Tillie Dezan and Helene Bryan and by numerous nieces and nephews.
