Obituary for Arminda Limburg (Chaparro)
LIMBURG, ARMINDA (nee CHAPARRO)
November 9, 1934 – November 17, 2023
It is with great sadness that the family of Arminda Limburg (nee Chaparro) announces her passing on Friday November 17, 2023 at the Brockville General Hospital at the age of 89 years. Arminda was the beloved wife of the late Konrad Limburg (2020). Cherished and loving mother of Loretta Limburg (John Gilhooly), Mike Limburg (Amanda Currie) and Ivan Limburg (Jamie Parker). A wonderfully dedicated and proud grandmother (Aba) of Patrick, Conor, Austin, Joseph, Charlie and Tobin. Arminda was predeceased by her sister Anita Chaparro and by her brother Victor Noe Chaparro. Arminda was born and grew up in Mexico City, Mexico before immigrating to Canada in 1957. Arminda is also survived by family in Mexico, Belgium and Denmark.
Arminda’s family would like to thank the dedicated staff at Bridlewood Manor Retirement Residence in Brockville for the care and support that Arminda received over the past year. A heartfelt thanks to Cathy for her kindness and compassionate care. A special thank you to the health care team at the Brockville General Hospital.
In keeping with Arminda’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Arminda's Life will be held at a later date.
