Condolence: I had the pleasure of knowing Ev as the wonderful mother she was, as I was Avery's grade 2 teacher. The love she had for all her girls was inspiring. Personally, she helped me begin my own journey back to health and fitness by encouraging me to attend classes and by kicking my butt at boot camp! Condolence: My deepest condolences to Evelyn's family. I was very saddened to hear the news. She was a very beautiful person, outside & in. A wonderful mother, wife & friend. She was also our yoga sister. We graduated together in April 2010, although she was unable to attend the graduation ceremony because she went into labour. Not only were we yoga sisters but we also shared in the joy of being pregnant together. My son is also 4, he was born in August & his name is Troy. We were 5 pregnant ladies during this training & we all joked that there must be something in the water & that it all started with Evelyn. She laughed at this.. Which she often did. Everytime she would catch my eye, she would be smiling, glowing in her pregnant joy. I remember her asking me how I was feeling a few times & we would chat about the wonders of pregnancy. I also remember when one of our yoga instructors used her as a model at the front of the class. The instructor was trying to demonstrate how to properly accommodate a pregnant person during class; Evelyn was the obvious choice for the job. As the instructor was working on her, the baby in Evelyn's belly did what looked like a few summersaults & the entire class erupted in amazement. Evelyn smiled & laughed. I did not know her well but she marked my life in a special way. Thank you for your smile & laughter Evelyn, it is surely what you will be remembered for.
