Suddenly at his home, due to a heart attack. Richard was predeceased by parents Robert & Shirley Butler. He leaves behind brothers Robert, Rhett (Louise), sisters Suzanne (Norman), Catherine and Melodie. He will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and lifetime friend Claudio (Cindy).

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Richard's life will be held on Thursday September 20th, 2018 at Seaway Christian Church, Prescott, with a Graveside Service following at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland at 2 PM.
