SLATER, JEAN AMELIA (nee VARDON)
On Sunday, March 12th, 2017 at the Brockville General Hospital Charles Street Site Jean Slater peacefully entered into rest at the age of 90 years. Jean Slater beloved wife of the late R.L. Slater. Dear Mother of Chris (Christine) of Prescott, Lyle (Barb) of Ottawa, and Susan (Claude) also of Ottawa. Grandma Jean of Rob, Michelle, Hugh (Reeann), Wesley (Maddalena), Jennifer (Scott), Daryl and Great Grandma Jean to Nicole, Matteo, Filippo, Jayden and Lillyana. Jean is survived by her twin Brother Chris Vardon of England. Predeceased by her brother Joseph, and her sisters Rose, Betty and Phil. Jean is also survived by nieces Janice Hammond (Rick), Linda Chamberlain (Ivor) and by a nephew Colin Vardon (Jenny).

Family and friends may call from 1-3 PM and 6-8 PM on Sunday March 19th, 2017 at the MACKAY Funeral Home 416 Dibble St. West Prescott Funeral service will be held on Monday March 20th at 2 PM in the Prescott Chapel of the funeral home. Interment in the Spring in Knight's Cemetery 11340 Van Camp Road.
