Weberg, Egon
On Wednesday, November 18th, 2015 at Extendicare Kingston, Egon Weberg peacefully entered into rest. He was 87 year old. Egon Weberg beloved husband of the late Ruth Weberg. Dear Father of Kim (Linda), Dawn and Hanna. Cherished Grandfather of Morgan, Joren, Heather, Karl and Katelyn. Brother of Kirsten Weberg. Uncle of Michael, Henning, Allan and Niels. Predeceased by a sister Tove Galton.
A true sailor and lover of music. Egon's career began on the merchant marine where he spent his spare hours playing the accordion. It was there where he discovered his hidden talent for entertaining. His hobbies included swimming, skiing, gardening, windsurfing and playing music.
In his retirement Egon was a proud member of the Off Beats Band and the Swim Masters team. Even after the band hung up their hats, he continued on his own to entertain the residents at St. Lawrence Lodge. His "Never Give Up" attitude stayed with him to the end.
In keeping with Egon's request there will be no visitation or service. A Private Family interment will take place at a later date in Roselawn Memorial Gardens 2451 County Road 15.
