Past Grand Steward.
On Thursday September 24th, 2015 in his 84th year at his home in Prescott, Gerry passed peacefully in his wife's arms. Beloved husband of Lilian Smith (nee Levere); dear Father of Deborah Hayes (Bruce), John Smith (Leslie) and proud Grandfather of Adam Rutherford, Mitchell Row-Smith, and Adrienne Row-Smith. He is survived by siblings Eugene Smith and Lee Anne Bean. Gerry was predeceased by two sisters Maryon Smith, Joyce Lee and a brother Baxter Smith. He is also survived and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and cousins.
Family and friends may call at the MACKAY Funeral Home 416 Dibble St. West Prescott on Tuesday September 29th, 2015 from 1-3 and 6-8 PM a Masonic service will be held at 6:30 PM. Funeral service at St. James Anglican Church (Maitland, ON) on Wednesday September 30th at 11 AM. Interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society. www.mackayfuneralhome.com
